Jesus Christ our Salvation means, Jesus our preservation, deliverance, safety, prosperity, healing and welfare. It therefore follows that the day you receive Jesus into your life, you also receive preservation, deliverance, safety, prosperity, health and welfare. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Don’t let any adverse situation make you believe otherwise. Don’t let the devil lie to you.
What Jesus our Salvation did is eternal, it cannot be undone or revised; for whatever is eternal, is permanent. Just as the problem of sin was eternal, requiring an eternal solution; Jesus became our solution. Therefore, when we receive this solution, sin and all the works of the devil (sickness, disease, suffering, poverty, oppression, etc) becomes ‘past tense’ in our lives. Now we know why it is written in II Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things (sinful nature & all sufferings) are passed away; behold all things are become new – Emphasis mine.
God’s Will (Plan) for mankind is salvation. In other words, God’s Will for you is preservation, deliverance, safety, prosperity, health and wellbeing/welfare.
3 John 1:2 KJV – Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
We appropriate His Will (Salvation) for our lives by the confession of our mouth.
Romans 10:10 – For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Oftentimes, we limit this scripture to the salvation experience alone; that is, what happens at the point of accepting Jesus Christ… but look again. Having established the fact that salvation is preservation, deliverance, safety, prosperity, health and welfare; we can deduce the following:
With the mouth confession is made unto preservation.
With the mouth confession is made unto deliverance.
With the mouth confession is made unto safety.
With the mouth confession is made unto prosperity.
With the mouth confession is made unto health and welfare.
