Prosperity plan.png

Last week, we adduced that a blessed person is a prosperous person. This week, we will be expounding on that:

II Corinthians 8:9AMP – “For you are recognizing (more clearly) the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His astonishing kindness, His generosity, His gracious favor), that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become RICH (ABUNDANTLY BLESSED).

We see the word ‘rich’ translated as ‘abundantly blessed’.

A blessed man is not trying to be rich; he is rich! The ‘substitutionary work’ of Christ has made this a reality. Jesus substituted our poverty with His riches. Therefore, if you truly understand what Christ has done, your ‘romance’ with poverty will be over forever.

Experiencing true prosperity begins with the mind; same as poverty. What you don’t believe, will not work for you. But thank God we have the mind of Christ! However, the onus lies on us to constantly feed our minds with this truth in order to build our consciousness of it.

God’s will/plan for us is prosperity.

III John 1:2 – “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”.

Deuteronomy 8:18 – “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day”.

The good news is this: the covenant (as promised above) has been established in Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus as Soter, is accepting the covenant of prosperity because Jesus is the new covenant revealed and prosperity is included in this new covenant; it is part of the package!

Prosperity is your inheritance.

Haggai 2:8 – “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts”.

Silver and gold as used here, depicts riches. So, this is your heavenly Father declaring Himself as rich. The son of a rich man is rich; unless of course he’s oblivious to his rights and privileges or in very rare cases, disowned. We are sons and God has made us partakers of His riches in Christ. Enjoy!
