In our previous post on #SalvationSeries#, we see that the reign of righteousness ushered in the Blessing. The reign of righteousness is the reign of blessing; the reign of victory; the reign of prosperity.

A blessed person is one who reigns in victory; who has been empowered to thrive and succeed always. Similarly, prosperity means “to push forward; to pass through; to get on; to thrive; to cause to prosper; to be successful.

Biblically speaking, we can deduce that a blessed person is a prosperous person.

According to the law of first mention, the word “prosperous” first appeared in the context of a journey:
Genesis 24:21 – “And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey PROSPEROUS or not”.

As pilgrims on earth, God has designed that we prosper (succeed, push forward, pass through, thrive, advance) in our journey. One major evidence that you are walking in the blessing/prosperity, is your advancement in life. Isaac was a carrier of the Blessing like his father Abraham; and we see a consistent pattern of the Blessing manifesting as advancement.

Genesis 26:13AMP – “And the man (Isaac) became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and extremely distinguished;”

Similarly, we have become carriers of the Blessing by faith through our Soter – Jesus Christ; such that we manifest same pattern of prosperity and prosperous living.

Galatians 3:14 & 29 – “That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles (us) through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith… And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Prosperity is inclusive of, but not limited to finances alone; it is all encompassing – spiritual, mental, physical, material etc. Simply put, it means: having the ‘mydas touch’ in all that you are and do.

Every child of God is born prosperous; live prosperous! Prosperity is included in the salvation package; enjoy the total package!!
