Welfare Package.pngWelfare is the availability of resources and presence of conditions required for reasonably comfortable, healthy, and secure living.

The Salvation Plan covers our welfare.

The bible is replete with practical demonstrations of God’s care for humanity. Our welfare is His concern. He is too responsible to be irresponsible. Jesus gave us a sneak peek into His caring nature:
Matthew 7:11 AMP – “If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE WILL YOUR FATHER Who is in heaven (perfect as He is) GIVE GOOD AND ADVANTAGEOUS THINGS to those who keep on asking Him!

Everything God does, is both for our good and advantage. Excess is His signature! He is a God of ‘much more’ and ‘infinitely beyond’. (Ephesians 3:20TLB). We are His priority and there is absolutely nothing that He has not given us; even if it is not yet in existence, it will be created and custom-made just for us.

He demonstrated His great care by giving us Jesus. Jesus our Soter, is the highest gift (welfare package) from the Father; such that with Jesus, all other add-ons are guaranteed:
Romans 8:32 AMP – “He who did not withhold or spare (even) His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also WITH HIM freely and graciously GIVE US ALL (other) THINGS?”

II Peter 1:3 AMP – “For His divine power HAS BESTOWED ON US ALL THINGS that (are requisite and suited) to life and godliness, through the (full personal) knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue)”.

In His Salvation Plan, He gave us Himself in Jesus Christ. He is all we need. He is the complete welfare package that we inherited in Christ:
Psalm 16:5 AMP – “The LORD is the portion of my inheritance, my cup (HE IS ALL I NEED); You support my lot.

God is your inherited welfare package! Enjoy Him!
